She received her degree in Veterinary Technology in November 2015 and, after passing both the National and State Board Exams, became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in January 2016. In 2018 Carey added Certified Veterinary Practice Manager to her list of accomplishments. Carey and her husband have two rescue dogs at home – a Malamute named Tana (named after a New Zealand rugby player) and a Lab Mix named Rita.

Becca
Becca is the most senior member of the LazyPaw team having joined in November 2011. She is our Chief Client Coordinator and has been serving as a Practice Manager where she is responsible for client satisfaction, maintaining the clinical schedule, and training new staff members among many other responsibilities. After attending Central Michigan University, she moved through Montana and Wyoming before settling in Frisco. Becca will be adding to her list of accomplishments by completing all the necessary requirements to become a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager in 2019. She has two Dogue de Bordeauxes (French Mastiffs) at home named Hera and Padme.

Shelby
Certified Veterinary Assistant Shelby is from Dallas and is an anchor of the technical team for over 3 years. Her off hours are spent reading, playing story driven video games and entertaining her two vivacious felines, Sawyer and Olive. Her favorite part about working at LazyPaw is the opportunity to sharpen her skills while learning new ones. She is currently studying for the Certified Veterinary Assistant Level III examination. Thank you Shelby for your ongoing commitment to lifelong learning and your dedication to your furry charges and their families!

Lindsey
Please say hello to Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) Lindsey! Originally from Kansas City, MO, she has made Texas her home. A keystone of the LazyPaw Technical Team, she loves the great outdoors especially when exploring with her family including her handsome canine companions: Augi and Big Boy!
Lindsey says her favorite aspects of her job are diagnostics and that every day is different, bringing new challenges and successes in patient and client care! She also has an amazing, hidden talent: She can whistle like a cricket! It is so cool. In addition to her many clinical work, Lindsey is currently preparing to take the CVA II exam.

Brianna
Brianna came to Frisco from Whitesboro. She shares her home with huggable Henry, a pittie/collie mix, and lovely kitty named Lemur. Brianna tells us she loves to enjoy good food with family and friends, relishes the feeling after a great work out, is a horror flick aficionado and an avid sports fan, and loves jammin’ to righteous tunes! She tells us the best part of her job at LazyPaw is working with a great team and learning more every day about small animal veterinary medicine.

Karli
Meet Karli! A Veterinary Tech at LazyPaw. She says the favorite part of her job is bonding with her patients and their families. Have a favorite pasta recipe? Please share it because not only is she a fan, she’s also a tremendous cook!
Karli shares her home with two active dogs, Bear and Rex, who definitely increase the energy and challenge level of her aerial yoga practice. Her other hobbies include soccer, horseback riding and reading. She reports her favorite place she’s visited thus far is Yellowstone. Finally, Karli has the spookiest real life ghost story.

Audrey
Meet Audrey, Texas native from neighboring Grapevine, she is one of our newest Client Coordinators! She has the sweetest border collie/aussie mix named Hollie, a true working dog and devoted canine companion.
Audrey enjoys a good read and volunteering her time in support of her community in addition to meditative yoga practice in her spare time. Her favorite part about LazyPaw: She feels like everyone on the team is like family, and of course the puppies

Kailee
Kailee is a Frisco native and has become an important member of our team. Her long term goal is to become a veterinarian! A former collegiate soccer player, Kailee is a tremendous athlete who loves adventure and sharing her home with 3 active dogs and a cat. She says her favorite part about working at LazyPaw is gaining on the job experience she will be able to put to good use in her future career! Kailee is currently working towards her veterinary assistant certification while preparing for application to veterinary medical school.
Please join us in welcoming Kailee to our team and wish her the very best in pursuit of her veterinary medical degree!

I highly recommend this place. Jason MorganJanuary 3, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If you're looking for the best care possible for your pet, you won't find a better place than LazyPaw. Because I'm a disabled veteran, I rely heavily on my service dog on a daily basis so I need my dog to be healthy and reliable. Not only do they provide excellent care at a very nice facility, but their friendly staff and their veterinarians have gone out of their way on several occasions when my dog became very ill and have even stayed open late on a weekend to help me get my documents in order to take my dog out of the country. I have also seen LazyPaw at many events because they believe in being a part of their community and helping others. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. If you love your dog as much as I love mine, then I wouldn't see why you would even consider going anywhere else than LazyPaw. Gina DigirolamoDecember 23, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A fantastic team of kind, transparent and skilled veterinarians. Truly dedicated to animal love. Dr. Lenz has been my veterinarian for the past six years, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I have two poodles, now 14 and 15, and she has provided them with exceptional care every step of the way. We’ve been through some very challenging times, but Dr. Lenz’s dedication, compassion, and expertise have always pulled us through. It’s clear she is in this profession for all the right reasons - she genuinely cares. I truly can’t imagine a better veterinarian to entrust with my pets’ health. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your animals like her own, Dr. Lenz is the one. Highly recommend! tj thompsonOctober 30, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Been with this veterinarian many years! Always very satisfied T!
