LazyPaw Animal Hospitals participated in and donated to the Frisco Sunrise Rotary Paddy Dash 5K on March 9, a run that benefitted the North Texas Military Association (NTXMA). The NTXMA is a group of military veterans and their friends and family dedicated to ensuring veterans get the recognition they deserve and help they need. NTXMA works hard to mentor veterans, supporting veteran success in higher education and donating funds to veterans in need. LazyPaw was honored to have the privilege of running and walking the dash with NTXMA members. You can find photos from the event on the Frisco Sunrise Rotary site here: http://www.friscosunrise.org/PaddyDash
Dr. Bilhartz and Dr. Hunter of LazyPaw are active members of NTXMA and serve on the organization’s special events committee. The LazyPaw Animal Hospitals staff was also involved in this event and worked hard to find runners and walkers to participate in the charitable dash. LazyPaw also donated two prizes for the silent auction. Dr. Hunter’s family has a proud history in the United States military with members serving in the Army, Air Force, and Navy. This history has led to her family’s passion to be involved in military support organizations.
